The Sprint Treo 700p update 1.10 will be available but not through your desktop or laptop computer but from an SD Card.

After the wait, which was the result of an earlier announcement by Palm, The much awaited software update will be available in a limited fashion only. Palm released the update a few weeks ago but the update caused some problems which made Palm withdraw it.

Paul Loeffler, Palm’s manager for public relations said :”We are working to resolve the installation issue with the desktop updater and will make it available as soon as possible.”

The update can be found on Palm’ website said Paul.

Mr Loeffler also promised that a version of this update will also be made available for the Verizon wireless consumers who own a Treo 700p.

This update has a lot of enhancements made available especially in the field of Bluetooth networking. It carries SDHC (Standard Definition High Capacity ) support which would allow memory cards with higher capacity.
